This course provides dentists with knowledge of the fundamentals of orthodontics aimed at treating adults with both an aesthetic and inter-disciplinary bias using sequential aligners. Areas of study include occlusion, malocclusion, facial and peri-oral aesthetics, the biology of tooth movement, case analysis from a peri-oral and intra-oral perspective, aetiology of orthodontic problems, how sequential aligner therapy works, specific examination protocols and techniques as well as relevant patient history and record taking. This course is ideally suited for those general dentists who want to introduce aesthetically biased adult orthodontics into their practice or deepen their knowledge in key areas.
